Storybook Meets Cookbook.

Plate the State is a show that brings Maine farms to your kitchen. We travel across the state to share the stories of small farmers, producers and fishermen who work hard to keep us well-fed. Our host shares how farmers' crops speak to the heritage of Maine, a message to younger generations on why it’s important to learn how food is grown and why eating on micro-local levels is more important than ever.

Our featured Maine chef then takes an ingredient from the farm to the kitchen where they create seasonal recipes, and teach our viewers tips and inspire leftover ideas.

Thank you for coming along on this beautiful journey. The best is yet to grow.
