When immigrant farmers from Sudan, Rwanda, Congo and Burundi find a new home in Maine, they can access lush farm lands and learn how to adapt to the incredibly different climate through Cultivating Community.

Cultivating Community is an incredible organization that supports immigrant farmers with access to lush farmland, training on growing in Maine's climate and business support so the farmers can sell produce from their homeland like okra, African corn and roselle. Yannick Bizimana introduces us to graduates of the farm program and then Chef Josh shows us some late-harvest corn recipes including Street Corn Salad.
